Secure Edge Delivery¶
TLS / SSL certificates are used to encrypt traffic between end-user and the CDN services. This prevents eavesdropping and tampering on the connection.
Vhosts are automatically TLS enabled using our wildcard certificate that is valid for the generated CNAME / delivery domain.
Certificates¶
When adding a custom domain name to a vhost, this domain name will not be secured using TLS. To enable TLS delivery for the newly added domain you need to upload a certificate for the domain on our platform. Once uploaded, please contact support so that our team can activate your certificate on all configured CDNs for you.
Add a custom certificate¶
Click on the + CREATE NEW button at the upper right corner of the screen.
Certificates List¶
In this section you can upload your certificates information and a Certificates List will be automatically generated for you. It serves as a point of reference, mainly to keep track on providers and expiration dates. One month before any certificate's expiration date, you will receive a notification email.
Keep in mind¶
Even though you have uploaded your certificates to our system, it doesn't mean that they are applied to all of the CDNs. This task can take up to a few hours to complete, and you will need to contact support to make sure they all work.
